After having this for a few months, I can now write a realistic review. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. It is very quiet. The set up was easy. The size of the litter box is reasonable for what you're purchasing it for. Make sure it is on a flat surface. I noticed when it was caught on the lip of the mat underneath, it threw off the balance and it censored an occupant. But once I made the correction, it was back to normal. I've had to add some litter catching accessories for when they exit. The mat provided is fine if your cat doesn't like to play with it. I think if it had a heavier weight to the mat then it wouldn't move around each time. But the mat in combination with a raised little litter step stool works perfect. I also added an additional rubber mat to reduce the provided mat from sliding around and spreading the litter everywhere.
The set up is pretty easy. Plug and play. Make sure you don't tear up the box until you read the directions on it. The insert provided inside could be a little more informative. There is some guidance on what type of litter to use. I've been using the Slide Clump and Seal and it works fine with it. The only downfall is that while it slides off the plastic barrel as it spins, it sticks to the inside rubber mat. So that's a litter issue not a box issue. Not a deal breaker as overall I like the function and purpose of the automated cleaning.
I like that it does not smell. It does a really good job on that.
The app is pretty easy to use. I like that it logs activity and weight. I don't quite understand the meaning or practical use of some of the settings and there isn't a guide on that that I can find. But with what I do understand, all is well. You can adjust the settings to your liking for the different components. I increased the clumping time to 8-10 minutes rather than the preset 3.
The emptying of the bag is easy. Be warned that if you have multiple cats, it can get full by day 5 or 6. I have 2 kittens and have to change mine weekly. Watch the videos provided by the QR codes. It will help visualize the bag insertion and barrel cleaning. Make sure when you insert the new bag that is tight and secured around the discarding compartment. Otherwise when you open the barrel, clumps will spill out.
Keep an eye on the amount of litter that is left after a few days depending on the type of litter you have. For me by day 6, the litter is low. Which works out well with the cleaning and changing schedule.
I was nervous about the cost, and efficacy but happy to report that I am a very satisfied customer. I would recommend.

Side note: If you have a sick kitty that needs their excrement monitored, be sure to lengthen your clumping time. It's hard to see in there sometimes and you need an extra few minutes to monitor. Luckily the app will tell you in real time when in use so you can get to it.
Side side note: One of my kittens is fascinated by the rotating movement and frequently likes to step in as it's trying to do its job. Ultimately stopping the cleaning process. It will restart once the cat exits. But sometimes it takes much longer to clean with all the kitty interruptions. I've had to find rotating toys to draw her attention away from the litter box.

Works Perfectly—Even Better Customer Service! I purchased two LeloPets Self Cleaning Cat Litter Box approximately six months ago, and both units have performed exceptionally well.

About one month after purchase, the strap that secures the waste bag on one unit broke. I contacted customer service to inquire about purchasing a replacement strap, and they promptly responded that spare straps were not available—but they immediately shipped me an entire replacement litter box to use for parts. Their communication was professional, quick, and courteous, and I received the replacement within days. Excellent customer support.

Functionally, the litter boxes are efficient and low-maintenance. I live in an RV, and the compact size fits my space perfectly. My cat adapted to it right away and uses it exclusively. There are no odors, and I typically empty the waste compartment once a week.

I also purchased one for my daughter at the same time, and both units continue to operate flawlessly after six months of daily use.

Cats took to this without a problem! Easy cleaning, odor is gone. Set up was challenging but we figured it out.

I was skeptical of buying this for the obvious reason of it being so expensive. Then again, everything is these days. Still, I worried that it would be difficult to use or not as wonderful as people say it is.

And even after it arrived, there was a time period of a day or two that I thought we would be sending it back. Our cat did not seem to be using it much at all. We would watch her approach and sniff around, and then saunter off. But she finally got used to it and now we think it's pretty amazing.

The reasons?
Well at the top of my list is smell. Or lack thereof. That was my biggest complaint with the other boxes we have used.
My second huge complaint was litter on the floor, which even happened when we went to the large pellet litter.
This one comes with a well designed mat and while there will be a bit of litter on the floor here and there, it is really a minuscule amount.
Another thing to like about it is that it's quiet when working its magic. And finally, though my husband was the one to change out the bag and so forth, after about a week, it seemed like it was easy peasy.

So I'm completely sold on it and at this point feel it was worth every penny.

Love my new litter box. Hassle free and keeps the house smelling fresh.
